Incisione in rame, colorata d'epoca ai confini, 457x642. Hubert Jaillot fu, insieme a Sanson e Duval, il più importante cartografo francese del '600. Fu socio dei figli di Sanson e quindi ripubblicò in formato e con stile diverso le carte precedentemente edite. Esemplare molto bello con traccia di tarlo e strappo alla piega centrale restaurati nel margine inf.Copper engraving, original outline colouring, 457x642. Hubert Jaillot was one of the most important frech cartographers of the Seventeenth century and, being associated with Sanson's sons, republished his maps, re-engraving them in a different style and size. A very good example with minor defects. <
