È considerato uno dei più grandi surrealisti. Miró era figlio di un orafo e orologiaio. Inizialmente ha seguito un'educazione commerciale, ma nel 1912 ha iniziato un'educazione artistica a Barcellona. Nel 1920 si trasferì a Parigi dove prese lezioni all'Académie de la Grande Chaumière. A Parigi Miró stringe amicizia con Picasso, Max Ernst, Hans Arp e Magritte e subisce l'influenza del cubismo. Come Picasso e Georges Braque, Miró non ha mai perseguito le conclusioni del cubismo fino all'astrazione completa. Le sue forme, per quanto stranianti, rimandano sempre alla realtà - alla realtà concreta, o alla realtà come esiste durante il sogno. Perfette condizioni. ' Included in the catalogue raisonné Joan Miro: Lithographs Volume V published by Maeght Eediteur, figure 831. ' Joan Miró was a Spanish painter, sculptor, graphic artist and ceramist from Catalonia. He is considered one of the greatest surrealists. Miró was the son of a goldsmith and watchmaker. He initially received a commercial education, but in 1912 he began an art education in Barcelona. In 1920 he moved to Paris where he took classes at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. In Paris Miró befriended Picasso, Max Ernst, Hans Arp and Magritte and was influenced by Cubism. Like Picasso and Georges Braque, Miró never pursued the conclusions of Cubism to the point of complete abstraction. His forms, however alienating, always refer back to reality - to concrete reality, or to reality as it exists during a dream. Very good condition.
