Tratta da ' Histoire de la République de Venise? ' di Leon Galibert, corredata da 24 tavole incise da Lalaisse, da disegni di Rouargue. La prima edizione dell’opera fu pubblicata a Parigi nel 1847. Acquaforte, firmata in basso a sinistra “Rouargue del.”, in basso a destra “Ch. Lalaisse sc.” Lieve foxing, osservabile soprattutto sui margini bianchi e che interessa solo parte superiore dell’inciso, nel complesso in buono stato di conservazione.
