8vo., First Edition, with portrait frontispiece, plates and maps, small neat signature on front free endpaper; blue tweed cloth, upper board blocked in gilt, gilt back, a near fine copy. Loosely inserted is a compliments slip from 12 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (the unit's later designation). Then stationed in Tripolitania, 12 ATR comprised R, S, T (Shah Sujah's Troop) and U Batteries. Includes ROH, honours & awards. EXTREMELY SCARCE.
