Description
New Haven CT, Sheffield Scientific School (for the Berzelius Society), 1878. 8vo. 71 pp.; one folded map. Original printed wrappers. = Rare catalogue on the plants around New Haven, in total being 1506 species. The introduction, by Eaton discusses some doubtful species, mainly trees, one seen, or supposed to be present in the area. Spine reinforced with japanese paper, wrapper's edges a bit chipped and frayed; text "valuable" in an old hand pasted on the front wrapper. Several small, pencilled tick marks. Otherwise very good, complete. Rare.
