A clean very tight copy with dusty unmarked boards, rubbed spine ends, minor bumps to lower front edge, bump/nick to a few adjacent lower page edges and no bumping to corners. 255pp. Angela Brazil's story focuses on Aldred Lawrence, a brave but confused fourteen-year old and her friendship with Mabel Farrington at Birkwood Grange girll's scholl.
