4 vols., roy. 8vo., First Edition, with maps and genealogical tables, tiny signature on front free endpaper of first volume; red cloth, gilt backs, red tops, a very good, bright, clean set in unusually bright, clean, dustwrapper (one wrapper chafed at headband). A handsome set; fine, crisp and clean internally with no trace of the usual fore-edge spotting, and only the very faintest marking and chafing to the wrappers.
