Description
Presentation plate on front end paper from Zionist Federation of GB & Ireland to John Robinson, Ambassador Designate to the State of Israel 1980. No other marks. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards, minor rubbing to spine ends, foxing to page edges and no bumping to corners. 640pp. The emergence of Zionism in the 1880s and 1890s is set against the background of European and Jewish history from the time of the French Revolution. This study looks at its history up to the post WW2 struggle for the Jewish State.
