Inscription to half-title page of Banjo Patterson volume. No other marks or inscriptions. Two very clean very tight copies with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jackets not price clipped or marked or torn with light creasing to upper edges and minor traces of storage. 304 + 304pp. Volume one contains the selected works of A.B. Banjo Paterson including his best-loved stories and poems such as 'Waltzing Matilda'. Volume two contains the sketches and poems of Henry Lawson which are an essential part of the Australian literary tradition. Illustrated with period photographs throughout both volumes. A heavy set.
