Graziosa edizione (la prima del 1806) aggiornata con 900 nuove ricette, di uno dei volumi più fortunati della gastronomia britannica ottocentesca, scritto dalla Signora Rundell (1745-1828) per insegnare alle sue figlie l'arte della cucina e dell'amministrazione domestica, per poi rivelarsi un caso editoriale che contò decine di ristampe, anche illegali, tra l'Inghilterra e gli Stati Uniti.
