In-8° oblungo, pp. 10, (2), legatura editoriale in tela senza sovraccoperta. Qualche leggera traccia d'umido alla legatura. Con 32 tavole, alcune impresse anche al verso, ospitanti 44 illustrazioni a colori, per la maggior parte a piena pagina, che raffigurano opere di Shepherd aventi per soggetto gli animali della Savana: sono ritratti elefanti, ghepardi, leoni, ippopotami, impala, gnu, bufali, zebre, giraffe, rinoceronti, kudu, coccodrilli. Alcuni leggeri segni d'umido alle carte di guardia, all'occhietto e a qualche pagina, per il resto in buono stato. Prima edizione
