Description
Single vellum leaf, 286 x 207mm, coloured in red, blue, brown and gold, to the reverse, in a early hand, is an account of the families ìJohn Basnett married Rebecca Gerrard 1697, their daughter Mary married May 10th 1748 the Rev. Meredith Townsend, by this marriage there was one son the Rev. Joseph Townsend, and one daughter Mary who married William Basnett then settled in Bathî. John Basnett married Rebecca Gerrard on 15 April 1697 at St Nicholas Cole Abbey in the City of London.
