8vo. 1 p. With autogr. address. In German, to O. Waniak in Vienna: "Do not come tomorrrow with Miss V - I am on night duty. If the coming Tuesday, 6 o'clock, agrees with you, would you please let me know [.]". - Schiele's "night duty" was performed as a soldier at the Museum of Military History in Vienna. The previous month had seen the important Secession exhibition which had brought Schiele his first artistic and financial success.
