8vo., First Edition, with title in red and black, and numerous plates (a number folding) and maps; original series binding of blue pebble-grain cloth, sides with multiple frame border in blind enclosing gilt device, gilt back, black endpapers, uncut, short split in lower joint (but binding entirely sound), a bright, clean copy. ALL THE SOCIETY'S EARLY VOLUMES ARE SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
