Haugh was accused of conduct unbecoming by Captain Barton who proffered charges such as ëbeing in the Officersís Picquet Room. in plain clothes, smoaking and drinkingí and drunken behaviour. The court acquitted Haugh and expressed ësurprise and disapprobationí for Bartonís ëpersonal insult to the prisonerí.
