Groningen, P. Noordhoff, 1909. Large 8vo (27.0 x 18.5 cm). 84, 3 pp.; eight fine photographic plates. Original blue cloth with gilt title on the spine and front board. Patterned endpapers. = Written by the Dutch zoologist, palaeontologist and professor at the Groningen University Jan Haitzes Bonnema (1864-1941). The author's thesis, with in the rear a printed list of propositions (3 pp.). Many species are new. Library stamp on front free endpaper verso (Steenhuis) and title of the library of the Dutch geologist Molengraaf; label on spine foot; otherwise a very good, clean copy in an attractive binding. Rare.
