Wien, Kaiserliche Akademie der Wissenschaften, 1850. Folio. 21 pp., two engraved plates. Disbound. = A detailed anatomical study with fine illustrations. Published in the first volume of the academy's Denkschriften. Text and plates were issued in different format, the plates being larger. Later volumes in this series have a more "normal" quarto size. Dampstain to the upper inner corner of the plates (not reaching the images), otherwise a very good clean copy. Dean I, p. 616; Nissen ZBI, 2077.
