Edizione originale di un'opera fondamentale. Donata da James Young (1811-1883) all'Anderson's College, la collezione è ora incorporata nella University of Strathclyde Library, Glasgow. Il compilatore del catalogo, John Ferguson, era Regius Professor of Chemistry a Glasgow, e lui stesso fu un importante collezionista di libri sull'alchimia e le scienze occulte (il suo dono all'Università comprendeva 104 incunaboli e 317 manoscritti).
