Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked brown cloth boards and minor bumping to top of spine and lower rear corner. Dust jacket price clipped but not marked with piece missing from lower front edge, minor nicks and chips to edges and rubbing to rear flap edge. 224pp. Brigantia was the mysterious, powerful Celtic State that stretched between a line roughly connecting the Wash to the Chester Dee right up to the Tyne and Solway and beyond. The Romans came to a halt when they encountered this State.
