Description
This is a very good softcover copy with just light wear. Completely clean inside and out. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Sotheby's London on October 8-9, 1979. Sale code: "LAYLA". The sale featured Mughal miniatures from the 16th to the 19th century, including a miniature attributed to La'l, ca. 1590. Also Deccani, Central Indian and Rajasthani miniatures from the 16th to 19th centuries, including a group ancestral portrait of the rulers of Jaipur, ca. 1760. 333 lots in the sale. Many illustrated, some in color. Price estimates sheets included, but not hammer prices. 10" high X 7" wide, 175 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
