Description
Berlin, Entomologische Verein in Stettin, 1852. Small 8vo (19.5 x 11.6 cm). Title page, iii-v, 97, 14 pp. Contemporary grained blind half cloth over marbled boards. = A rare, early edition of this work, which was published in many editions. It seems that this is the first edition by the prolific entomologist Hermann Rudolph Schaum (1819-1865), who provided a long preface. Old bookshop's stamp in lower margin of the title page, otherwise very good, clean. Horn-Schenkling, 19136.
