Contemporary half calf over marbled boards. = A rarely- seen,well-illustrated and detailed study, in particular dealing with the surroundings of Alexandria and Rosetta. Published in the Anstalt's Mittheilungen, Band VIII, but this is the offprint, with double pagination. The author, Janos "Johann" Jankó (1868-1902) was a Hungarian ethnographer, historian and geographer. Spine abraded; front free endpaper a bit chipped; otherwise very good. Clean, unmarked.
