Marbled edges. = An important but seldom-seen monograph on Medusae, by the zoologists and brothers Oscar (1849-1922) and Richard (1850-1937) Hertwig. Pictorial bookplate of the John Crerar library on the front padtedown and their small stamp on plate versos. Perforate stamp in the marginof one text leaf. Lower outer front corner chipped, otherwise a very good copy of this well-illustrated work.
