Original green buckram. Gilt title on the spine and front board. = A rare, nicely bound copy of the author's thesis, with a fine geological map of the Katanga region or province in Congo, formerly also known as Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo, or Congo, Kinshasa), which is very rich in mineral resources. Usually found in original wrappers, but this copy well-bound. Provenance: from the library of the Dutch geologist Molengraaff, with hist stamp on the title page, and another one on the front free endpaper verso. Otherwise a fine, complete copy.
