No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean tight copy with unmarked slightly rubbed, mainly to spine, maroon cloth boards, tanned page edges and no bumping to corners. Fold-out drawings at rear all in excellent condition. 291pp. A comprehensive study of the development of fire-arms, from the invention of gunpowder onwards. Facsimile copy by Standard Publications of the original 1858 publication, undated, ca 1950.
