Original pictorial cloth. = Well-illustrated introduction to the fossils of Germany. The 72 plates (many depicting Mollusca, including ammonites, bivalves, gastropods, etc., and also many brachiopods) are quite nice. First edition published in the series: Schriften der deutschen Lehrervereins für Naturkunde. Provenance: Small stamp of the malacologist and ecologist Herbert Ant on title page, otherwise a very good, clean copy with all the fine plates.
