Bruxelles, Musée royal d'Histoire naturelle, 1908. Large 4to. 38 pp.; 13 text illustrations, 11 mostly lithographed plates. Contemporary half cloth over marbled boards. Spine with gilt title. Original printed wrappers bound in. = A well-illustrated monograph by the French geologist, palaeontologist and ammonite specialist Marie Félix Albert Durand de Grossouvre (1849-1932). Two stamps on the bound-in front wrapper; otherwise a very good, clean and unmarked copy. Very uncommon, especially when nicely bound.
