Thick 8vo, publisher’s original brown cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and extensively and pictorially decorated in blind in all over designs across both covers and the spine in Babylonian motif including the image of an Assyrian bull. xxiii, 686 pp., includes index. A very fine and handsome copy of this now scarce title rarely found in decent condition, clean and the binding in excellent condition, strong and beautifully preserved.
