8vo., First Edition, with illustrations in the text, small neat contemporary signature on front free endpaper; purple cloth, backstrip lettered in silver, top lightly dust-soiled else a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with minor loss (just affecting lettering) at headband and with small loss at upper edge of rear panel. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR ON TITLE. The author's third book for children and EXTREMELY SCARCE IN SIGNED FORM.
