8vo., First Edition, with a frontispiece, 40 sepia-toned plates and 53 illustrations in the text, endpapers very lightly spotted; original blue cloth, upper board blocked and lettered in black, gilt back, backstrip sunned to brown (but all gilt bright and entirely legible), a very good, bright, clean copy. As usual with this publisher, an excellent and well-illustrated general survey. Includes an index of examples by county. Uncommon in this condition.
