Leningrad, NAUKA, 1978. 8vo (24.8 x 16.5 cm). 384 pp.; 467 (groups of) text figures, 21 photographic plates. Publisher's black, embossed cloth. White title on spine and front board. = A very well-illustrated monograph, containing quite a number of new taxa (on all levels) and reclassifications. This part on Helicoidea - almost exclusively - contains the families Helicodontidae, Bradybaenidae, Hygromiidae, and Helicidae; as well as Polygyroidea, with Polygyridae (one, apparently introduced, species). Stamp on front free endpaper recto and title page; otherwise a very good, clean copy.
