First edition, First State, in the second state dustjacket with the photographer's credit. 8vo, publisher’s original tan linen, lettered and decorated in black over red on the spine, in the illustrated dustjacket with the original $2.75 price intact. [x], 471 pp. A very good copy of the book, the text-block with minor mellowing only, the binding in good order, some cracking of the pastedown join at the rear hinge, the dustjacket handsome and very well preserved with little evidence of handling.
