8vo., First Edition, with plates, some mild offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; blue cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Livingston served from the early days of the RAF in India and Iraq. After specialising in ophthalmology he studied aircrew visual acuity during WWII and ended his career as Director-General of RAF Medical Services. SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
