<span style="font-style: normal;">In-8° (cm. 22), brossura editoriale a stampa con dedica autografa del traduttore William Edward Frye e suo appunto bibliografico al piatto posteriore; pp. 246 in barbe e in buono stato, sporadiche bruniture. La </span><i>Saga di Fritiof</i> (1825) è un ciclo di romanze del goticista svedese Tegner in cui l'eroismo vichingo si sublima in una sfera platonico-cristiana. Si tratta del suo capolavoro, è basato sulla leggendaria saga islandese e qui viene proposto in rima inglese dal Frye. Ottimo esemplare. (SD6)
