Description
No marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers. A very clean very tight copy with bright, extremely faintly marked boards and no bumping to corners. 44pp. The story of Gorton Monastery, established by Franciscan friars in the Gorton district of Manchester in 1872. It was almost lost towards the end of the 20th century but has now been refurbished and is an amazing building and community centre for events once more. Tucked in are the Monastery News for 2009, Tour information and a leaflet about a Pugin centre for the Monastery - Pugin designed the building.
