No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, traces of foxing to top of page edges and minor bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with sunning to spine and rubbing to some corners. In a plain card slipcase in very good condition. 265pp. A lavish study of women's dress covering mainly the 14th and 15th centuries with a wealth of photographs, some in colour. Translated by Greta Hort. With a French resume over twenty pages.
