Sm. 4to., First Edition, with coloured title-vignette, 12 charming full-page coloured illustrations and pictorial endpapers, some light offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; original pictorial ivory boards (upper board repeating illustration from text), upper board and backstrip lettered in brown, a very good, crisp, clean copy in unclipped, very lightly age-soiled dustwrapper. Trotman's classic tale of a hedgehog is now very scarce, especially in this condition.
