First Edition, 4to, 147pp., 48 coloured plates, orig. cloth, d.w. The Bibliotheca Corviniana which Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary (1458-1490), collected in his Buda palace was one of the largest and most magnificent libraries of the times. Out of the original Corvinian collection 43 manuscripts and two incunabula are preserved in Hungary, and the present work is a discussion of them.
