Easily removable names/dates in pencil on front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers or to very slightly sunned spine. A very clean very tight copy with tanning to end papers, label (?) mark to front board, dusty top of page edges and bumping to upper front corner. Unpaginated. ca 250pp. Introduction over 26 pages plus drawings and opposite facing text describing 124 fonts throughout England. The fonts are arranged chronologically as Norman, Early English. Decorated and Perpendicular. There is also an alphabetical listing of them all and county and town are provided for every one.
