Editor's printed wrappers (spine slightly stained). Unopened and uncut copy. First edition, the work is part of the collection Bibliothèque photographique.
Eugéne Trutat was a famous French naturalist, photographer, geologist, and mountaineer. He is famous for having been the first director of the Natural History Museum of Toulouse and for having left behind an exceptional collection of thousands of glass plate photographs documenting life and landscapes in the late 19th-century.
