>238x158 mm. [2], 138 pp. Original printed wrappers, somewhat stained and soiled, corners of upper cover torn. A good copy, spotting throughout, the first 15 pages rather toned and stained. A few pencilled marks.
With earthquakes dealed also the mathematician Antonio Favaro, the well-known editor of Galilei. The work contains an useful bibliographical appendix. Supplements appeared in 1875 and 1876 Baratta, p. 887; Clio, s.v., p. 1802.
