Oblong 4to., First Edition, with coloured title vignette, and numerous coloured illustrations and monochrome photographs throughout, upper corner of leaves lightly damp-marked; navy cloth,upper board framed in blind and lettered in gilt, gilt back, backstrip faded else a very good, bright, clean copy. A PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR WITH HIS SIGNED HOLOGRAPH INSCRIPTION ON FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. Identifies and describes major Japanese warplane types. Despite the flaw, a bright, clean working copy of a scarce wartime compilation.
