Description
In-8 p., 4 volumi, tela editoriale Storia del costume (e delle suppellettili) a partire dagli Egizi fino all'Ottocento. L'opera e' cosi' suddivisa: "Geschichte.. der Voelker des Alterthums", pp. XLI,603 - ".. vom 4. bis zum 14. Jahrhundert", pp. XXVIII,625 - ".. vom 14ten bis zum 16ten Jahrhundert", pp. XL,509 - ".. vom 16ten Jahrhundert bis auf die Gegenwart", pp. 1432 (numerazione continua). E' molto ben illustrata da complessive 1239 incisioni su legno nel testo e 16 tavole in cromolito fuori testo. Solo il terzo volume (in 2 tomi) e' della prima edizione, 1872. Cfr. Colas,II,3064-65. Con aloni su 2 volumi, ma complessivamente buon esemplare.
