First edition of this short story by Jammes, illustrated with five original woodcuts by A. Roubille. From a total edition of 1,109 copies, this is one of 130 on violet wove paper. Printed in black and purple. Huge margins. At the end, a suite of the woodcuts on Arches wove paper. Large 8vo. Original wraps. Light wear to wraps, internally clean.
