Le Caire [Cairo], L'Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale, 1929. 4to (28.2 x 22.7 cm). 85 pp. Original printed wrappers. = An interesting study, discussing plans that became reality much later, under Napoleon Bonaparte. Written by the French historian and diplomat François Charles-Roux (1879-1961). Uncut, hence with some very light, marginal fraying and chipping; small stamp on front wrapper, faint stamp on front free endpaper, otherwise an excellent, clean copy.
