21,5x13,5 cm; 103, (1) pp. Brossura editoriale arancione con titolo impresso in nero al piatto anterioe. Leon fu un ufficiale , scrittore ed etnologo francese nato a Aniche il 29 Dicembre 1885 e morto l'8 Giugno 1956. Fu nominato capitano e comandante de "les Compagnies méharistes sahariennes". Prima edizione assai rara, nessun esemplare censito in ICCU. Leggerissimo ed ininflunete alone d'umidità al margine esterno del volume. Alcune foto nel testo. L'opera ripercorre il viaggio sahariano di M. J. Carde governatore generale dell'Algeria. Prima edizione non comune.<BR>
