Minor label removal marks inside front board. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A clean very tight copy with dusty decorated bevelled-edge boards, browning to page margins and no bumping to corners. Gilt edges all round. 398pp. Illustrated. Biographies of nine good men including Prince Albert Consort to Queen Victoria. Undated but latest date referred to in text appears to be 1879. Twelfth edition.
