Ex library book with usual marks and stamps. A very clean very tight copy with tape-marked maroon cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or torn with tape marks to dust flaps and light creasing. Missing front end paper. 260pp. Very personal recollections of LS Lowry by the author, owner at the time with her husband of Newcastle's Stone Gallery where Lowry's work was frequently promoted. During the last fifteen years of his life he spent almost as much time with the Marshalls as in his home in Mottram, Cheshire.
