Clean tight pages with bright unmarked orange cloth boards, dusty upper page edges, foxed page fore-edges, untrimmed lower page edges, rubbed spine ends and very minor bumping to corners. Scarce dust jacket present - not price clipped or marked with very well-rubbed edges and missing spine strip. Now in a fully-removable transparent sleeve. 286pp. Early 20th century novel about London folk.
