Description
Toulouse, [privately published], 1848-1856. 8vo (20.8 x 13.9 cm). Two parts in one. 95 pp. [41; 54], including half-titles and titles. Original printed wrappers bound in. = A rarely seen complete series, dealing with terrestrial gastropods including the much later published (and rarer?) second decade. Written by the French malacologist Guillaume Camille Alfred de Candie de Saint-Simon (1823-1895). With on the front free endpaper a stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020). A very good copy.
